Dr Promila Dhanuka is a board certified medical oncologist. After a residency in internal medicine, she completed her fellowship in the sub-specialty of oncology-hematology at University Hospital of New York Medical College.

Her office is fully equipped with a chemotherapy suite for in-office chemotherapy and intravenous infusions. She is on staff at Shasta Regional Medical Center and Mercy Medical Center.

She has a special interest in prevention and treatment of female cancers. She believes in caring for the whole person and not just treating his or her disease. Her care philosophy is to take the best available evidence and state-of-art medical knowledge; and customize them for treating an individual person.

Our Values

And What We Stand For

Positive Attitude

Care

Excellence

Over the last few years, understanding and treatment of cancer has changed rapidly, but the needs of our patients has and will always remain very personal. It involves evidence-based science; intuitive art of medicine; and most of all, an emotional component that can only be understood by the patients, their families and their caregivers.

Therefore, we have decided to set ourselves a mission to fight cancer with a positive attitude, care and excellence. That is how the name P.A.C.E Cancer Center was born.

This idea has emerged from our staff and patients who we have cared for over the last several years. At P.A.C.E Cancer Center, we are sure that with your continued support we can fulfill that dream of making a difference in the lives of our patients, their families and our community.
